With momentum running strong following a great year of fundraising and voluntary support, 

Belgarum Estate Agents were proud to continue our ongoing support of one of Hampshire's greatest fireworks events of the year. Not only were we able to sponsor the event but several members of the team popped their wellies and hi-vis jackets on to get involved by volunteering on the night.

Belgarum Estate Agents are seeking candidates for their 2016 charity campaign. They are calling for all local charities to contact them if they wish to be shortlisted for their chosen charity.

There appears to be mounting evidence from around the country that gazumping is back. Only last month, the UK's largest conveyancing firm, myhomemove, reported a substantial rise in the incidence of gazumping over the summer, with just over a quarter of conveyancers seeing instances where a new buyer gazumped the original purchaser during June, July and August.

Actually, the good news is that this year transaction times have started to come down again from the level they reached during the years immediately following the property crash. However, as always, national average figures hide a fair amount of regional variation.

If you are currently a home owner and need to sell your existing property in order to make your onwards purchase, the first thing you will need to do is put your property on the market. We would recommend you invite three local reputable independent agents who have extensive local knowledge of the area.
