Belgarum Estate Agents are seeking candidates for their 2016 charity campaign. They are calling for all local charities to contact them if they wish to be shortlisted for their chosen charity.

The nominations will be put forward to their staff who will vote on the winner which will be announced in the New Year.

Belgarum’s 2015 Charity of the Year is Trinity Winchester and Belgarum have thoroughly enjoyed supporting Trinity Winchester thus far and will continue to do so through to the end of the year. In May, Belgarum were able to sponsor Trinity Winchester’s The Big Sleep Out fundraiser. Several members of the team, including Managing Director John Leeson, participated in the event and raised £1,735 in the process. Belgarum staff members have also supported other fundraising events for Trinity Winchester including a 5k Run or Dye race at Stansted Park (September) and Wear Your Gloves Day (October).

In addition to fundraising, staff from Belgarum have volunteered their time and resources to support Trinity, either by collecting food donations from local retailers and delivering them to Trinity at Bradbury House in Winchester, or staff cooking and serving lunch to Trinity’s service users when their chef was away. Other initiatives include Belgarum’s management team holding workshops at Trinity’s ‘jobseekers workshops’ to help and guide Trinity's service users in getting back into employment.

Belgarum is a family-owned independent estate agency built from a team who are proud to live and work in Winchester. It is therefore important to them that they support the local community, its people and its businesses. Belgarum have thoroughly enjoyed supporting Trinity Winchester and look forward to working with their 2016 Charity of the Year in fundraising events as well as offering support.
