As part of our ongoing support for our 2015 Charity of the Year,Trinity Winchester, some of the Belgarum ladies donned their running gear to participate in the Rye or Dye 5k colour run at Stansted Park.

Seanne, Donna, Laura, Gemma, Becky, Sara and Debbie set off bright and early on Sunday morning ready to get covered in a variety of colours of paint and complete the 5k circuit set amongst the beautiful grounds of Stansted Park.

It was the first colour run the girls had done and they hadn't expected to get embroiled in a paint fight before the race had even begun! Blue hair, orange faces, green legs, everyone was a different combination of bright colour.

The team split into different ability groups to set the pace for the 5k circuit and at each stage got even more paint thrown at them for each 1k completed. At the finish line they reconvened and laughed and joked about their experiences throughout the race. Whilst the girls had a great morning out in the sunshine, more importantly they were there to raise awareness and most importantly funding for Trinity Winchester.

Trinity Winchester is a unique Winchester-based charity which addresses the effects of homelessness and vulnerability through specialist practical and emotional support, and proactive prevention, empowering positive change.
