Old Alresford, “the ford over the river where the alder trees grow”, is a charming village, stretching from New Alresford in the south-west to Upper Wield in the north-east. The village is beautifully peaceful and offers the village green where fetes and street parties are held, a village hall, Old Alresford Pond and Old Alresford Church, with its beautiful churchyard and quiet, reflective atmosphere.
There are fantastic links to Winchester, Petersfield and London with the South Downs National Park only a few miles to the south.
