Situated north-east of Winchester on the banks of the River Itchen is the pretty village of Martyr Worthy, with stunning countryside walks, a village hall and St. Swithun’s Church, along with a regular bus service to Winchester to the West and Alresford to the East. It has the added benefit of excellent access to Micheldever Station and road links to Basingstoke and Southampton.
