An attractive village, big on community
There’s an appealingly eclectic range of homes here, with some very old houses dating from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. More modern houses flank the very lively Millennium Memorial Hall and recreation grounds. The village boasts well-known stables used to train many racehorses and the stylish Running Horse pub offers a cosy place to eat, drink and get to know the locals.
Roughly 3 miles north of Winchester, it gives easy access to both urban necessities and rural escapism.
