Highcliffe lies to the east of the city centre and is a lovely residential area, close enough to the city to walk to but far enough away to offer peace and quiet. The Water Meadows, St. Giles’ Hill and St. Catherine’s Hill are a short stroll away and the start of the South Downs National Park is only a few hundred yards to the east.
The high street can be accessed via a pretty riverside walk along the Itchen, taking in the renowned Black Boy pub along the way. There is excellent access to the M3 serving London, the South Coast and the West Country.
