Six miles to the south of Winchester lies the historic village of Hursley, which dates back to the late 12th century. It is famous for its connections with Richard Cromwell, John Keble (of Keble College, Oxford fame) and its many tall highly decorated rubbed brick chimneys. On its outskirts, the beautifully landscaped Hursley Park is home to IBM (UK) Laboratories and an IncuHive workspace.
A village primary school, local shops and two great pubs make this a self-sufficient and welcoming community.
