More people 'seeking mortgage advice'

More homebuyers are seeking advice from mortgage brokers when
considering purchasing houses for sale in the UK.
According to a recent survey from Paragon Mortgages' Financial
Adviser Confidence Track (FACT) survey, financial advisers predict
that there will be a 7.2 per cent quarter-on-quarter rise in the
mortgage industry during the third quarter of 2010.
FACT also revealed that this is the sixth consecutive month that
brokers have anticipated an increase in business levels.
Recent figures showed that 24 per cent of brokers expected to
handle ten per cent more mortgage enquiries in the third quarter
compared with the second.
Paragon Mortgages' managing director John Heron said: "Mortgage
brokers appear to be confident about the short-term future of the
mortgage market, which is a positive sign as they are the ones on
the ground talking to borrowers."
Alexander Hall's Andy Pratt recently told homebuyers to seek advice
from brokers as the lending market is "more complicated" than it
used to be.
